These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and borli (“borli”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your use of our AI character chat application and website (the “Service”). Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service may contain mature themes and is not intended for minors.
You may use the Service either by signing in with Google or as an anonymous guest identified by a device identifier. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account or device. Anonymous data is tied to your device and may be lost if you clear your data or switch devices; signing in helps preserve your chats and purchases. You may link an anonymous session to a Google account to keep your history and gems.
borli lets you chat with, create, and voice-call AI characters. All characters and their responses are fictional and generated by artificial intelligence. They are not real people, do not represent real individuals, and their output does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other kind of advice. Do not rely on the Service for factual accuracy or real-world decisions.

You are responsible for the characters and content you create. By submitting content, you grant borli a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. If you make a character public, you also grant other users the ability to interact with it through the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license. We may remove content that violates these Terms at our discretion.
The Service uses a virtual currency called “gems” and may offer a “Premium” subscription. Gems and Premium features have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you, not sold.
Purchases are processed by our payment provider. Except where required by applicable law, all purchases of gems and subscriptions are final and non-refundable. Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content we provide, is owned by borli or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AI-generated content is fictional and may be inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate or reliable. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, borli and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
